  It's hard to know what to expect when somebody special passes before their expected time and you have to help create a service that would help loved ones remember them. Diane was good to deal with and attentive in person. She was professional and helped guide us throughout the process, never pushing too much. There were a couple of instances where communication was not relayed well between Diane & Scott but nothing is perfect, I guess. The service went well and so did the discussions and preparations for the funeral. It's hard to give a rating when we don't have any other experiences to compare it to but we did feel looked after.

  Only other negative part was the usher (i guess that's his title) was very hands on and mourners never had a chance to touch coffin if they wished to do so or even lay their flowers on top of the coffin.

  My experience with Elite Funerals for my father's service was a very pleasant and hassle free time for me and my family. Everything went smoothly and even a last moment situation that popped up was handled quickly without a hitch. The staff were professional, caring and gave me plenty of time to get things sorted on my end for my father's service. Very happy with Elite Funerals and couldn't have asked for any better. My heartfelt thanks to Diane and Scott for everything you did for me, my family and my father.

  The service felt rushed, taking no more then 19mins before being ushered outside - possibly that was for the balloon release & that was calculated in the allotted time.

  Update: been in contact with the funeral director & she apologised for the celebrant & explained the usher was just trying be helpful. Apart from the celebrant, Elite Funerals put on a beautiful service.

  Okay up until the Celebrant went off on his own tangent an began to chronicle another mourners Eulogy from the day before he kept in his folder. Very unprofessional.
